Free MCBoot is a powerful soft mod for the Playstation 2. It enables us to run homebrew applications from the Memory Card, granting us access to all kinds of tools - and the greatest feature is that it requires no modifcation to your PS2 console. You simply plug your FMCB Memory Card into the Memory Card slot and you're ready to go.

This Memory Card comes with FreeMCBoot installed and ready to use, as well as the following applications:

• uLaunchElf - Launches .ELF homebrew applications, can also be used to browse and manage DVD Media, memory card files, USB Mass Storage, and internal HDDs
• ESR - The most popular FMCB feature, allows you to launch backups from DVD media without a modchip, providing the .ISO file patched using the ESR patcher tool, available here.
• HD Loader - Allows you to play games from the optional hard drive peripheral.
• Open PS2 Loader - Known among the community as OPL, this amazing tool lets you play your games from a USB mass storage device, or even from a network drive.
• PS2ESDL - An alternative to OPL, has slightly better compatibility with some games.
• GS Mode Selector - Known as GSM, it allows you upscale the video output of the console to higher resolutions.
• SMS - A simple media player for the PS2

Compatibility: FMCB is compatible with all PS2 consoles EXCEPT for the SCPH-9000X series, the exploit was fixed on this final iteration of the PS2. If you have one of these consoles, I recommend a modchip instead.
