Stealth 2.8a is a modchip for the original Playstation console which will allow you to play your backups from CD-R, and also games imported from other regions. Although this chip will work with many PS1 versions, it is intended to be used as an alternative to MM3 for the SCPH-100X series of consoles, since MM3 has some issues playing some titles on these versions - specifically games with additional copy protection like Capcom games.

Each chip comes with enough solder and 0.25mm insulated wire to install the chip. To complete the installation you will need a cross-head/phillip's screwdriver and a soldering iron.

Stealth 2.8a has to be programmed differently depending on the region of your console, so please specify your region when ordering.
